Do you have the old kit or the new one? And if you have the old one do you have camber/caster bolts? If so, those parts are the reason why your alignment stays true... otherwise you are one lucky "!/% !! Because mine keep getting knock off but I just added tabs and camber/caster bolts so it can withstand some more abuse.

Are camber/caster bolts universal and available at an alignment shop? I'd like to get it done while my brother is getting his alignment done tomorrow

No they are not. But most bolts kit are in stock in larger parts retailer specially for the f150 since it's a big seller in the states. Otherwise refer to post #13 I already gave you a place where you could get them.

I'm having the rough country level kit installed tomorrow on my 2010 F150 and a buddy of mine had to install different camber bolts on his 2009. Should I look into changing out my camber bolts? I called the shop today and told him I've heard this issue exists and he said "I assure you that it will be fine, I haven't had anyone come back to me complaining about uneven wear yet." Thanks in advance.

Wouldn't worry about it with a level.

Yeah, you will be fine with a level kit. At least with the camber bolts. You won't have to change that out with just a level kit. The full suspension lift they have makes you replace a lot of suspension components up front, which apparently on the older lifts replaced the OEM camber bolts with regular bolts(?). But with a level kit you will be fine in regards to your camber bolts. My brother had some trouble with his RCX level kit in getting it actually aligned right... He kept wearing his tires uneven. Got that issue fixed now tho

Adding stoppers to LCA

1. Add stoppers like I said earlier and put some camber/caster bolts on.

2. Keep going for an alignment each month.

3. Return to stock or and buy another lift.

As far as I'm concern #1 makes the most sense out of the three.
pat28 can you give more detail on adding stoppers to the LCA
