nafirefighter,

Was there plenty of clearance for the with the 9" of lift or did you have to trim?

My truck is getting a body lift next week and I have to make a decision on tires soon either 37's or 38's (obviously want 38's if they will fit fine) I am running KMC monsters 20x9 as well.

J Diddy- I had plenty of clearance left didn't have to trim. Yea If you can fit them I would go with the 38's.

Truck looks awesome!
wish i could go with a bangload of lift like some of you guys with 9" or more but i like to be able to tow my boat to the lake plus my business requires me to tow vehicles and motorcycles and towing with a monster truck blows. I tried towing with my '79 chevy shortwide on 44s back in the day and it was not fun.

Looks good. Skid plate in the works? Get that step bar painted a flat black, will flow nicely with the fender trim, its the only piece of chrome on the truck that I can see other than the badges and rim lip.

i am planning on that while i am stationed in italy, wish i could take the truck but dont want it to get destroyed. but when i lift i am going with 38x15.50x20 that way i can get that wide stance i mean really wide plus add some fender flares. mhockey have you put new tires on that rig yet? i know you have been planning. not many people on here have that big of a lift to start out with plus a bodylift. great looking trucks though.

That will look good, you should do like I did, 38x15.5x20 with 2" wheel spacers for that really wide look

Thanks man, no problems knock on wood. I have had them on for a year now. I think the ones that have problems are the ones that buy them cheap $50 ones on ebay
