rear shocks 2001

Hey guys putting my Rancho 9000s on tomorrow got the front shocks off already need help on the rear ones any cool tips or tricks? By the way I'm using a lift so I'm gonna be basically eye level with the shocks none of that crawling on the ground stuff. Thanks for any and all help. Ps its an 01 f150 4x4. Extended cab.

Bottom mount will not be any problem. Top mount however will be a bitch. Use penetrating oil and a wire brush to get as much rust as possible off the threads. Also be prepared to cut them off. It may be necessary. As far as a wrench, a ratcheting closed end would be best. Not enough room for socket and ratchet wrench.

I guess a body lift makes the installation a lot easier. I think it only took me a few minutes to install all four shocks on my Screw.

Thanks guys having the lift so I was eye level with the shocks made it easy had just enough room to get a hatchet in there and take them off. The Rancho 9000 shocks are NICE. Along with the brand new edge programmer she's riding right

did mine about a month ago...put on pro-comps...thought it would be a quick job,...boy was i wrong..front ones done in about 20 mins...then i got to the back ones...save yourself the time and go straight to a saw-zaw or dremel tool...tried to the saw-zaw first and it took forever..so i tried a dremel tool with a metal cuttin bit on it...worked so damn fast..cut it right off..sounds kinda lame but it work fast and easy for me
