Rear lift blocks??

I am installing a rear lift block kit to raise the truck up another 2" to get my rake back. I was just wondering if the original shock will still work or should I purchase a new set for the added 2"?

You should be fine with the original shock. I replaced my shocks though when I put in my rear 3" blocks, only because the shocks came with everything else that I bought from another member. The shocks I used were Bilsteins and they were actually labeled for use with 0-2" of lift.

I put an add a leaf in my f150 and never replaced the shocks... never had a problem. I put a 2.5" block in my tahoe and I replaced the shocks cause 1) they were shot; 2) they were reaching full extension with the torsion bars cranked just a little... I just got a set of Pro Comp RS(?)9000s from 4wheelparts. Drives awesome now

I am debating whether to get a 3, 3.5, or 4 inch rear blocks. I know the stock blocks are 2 inches. Does anyone have any sugestions on what size would be best? I do alot of towing and currently my truck sags alot in the back.

Thanks for the recommendation but i think im just gonna go with the 4" block. I wasnt looking at spending that much but may consider it down the road.
