Thumbs up 05 F150 6" or 8" lift...how high should we go? PICS

Hey guys - I'm new the to forum and was hoping for some advice I just bought a 2005 F150 Fx4. Right now it has a 2" Tuff Country Leveling Kit, Volant Cold air intake, flowmaster exhaust (dualed out from the muffler)

I'd like to put a suspension lift on my truck by the end of this year/beginning of next and was hoping to have people send me pictures of their lifted trucks to help me decide how high I'd like to go and if anyone has regrets on the type of lift they have.

Any input would be awesome, thanks!

IOR - your truck looks awesome the suspension prob a bit higher than I am looking for (I'd like to be able to still park in a standard sized garage lol) but overall your truck is awesome! What brand are those wheels? I like the spoke style and kind of would like a black/chrome combo wheel but we'll see

you truck is sharp looking - how do you like the ride after putting the lift on it? and wtf someone stole your hub caps!

I was driving around an acura 4 door before I bought my truck 2 weeks ago. My car was stolen and they jumped it or something because the whole front end of the frame was bent upwards about 2-3" After that I knew I wanted to drive a truck again and the 05 is quite a step up from my old 79.

mhockey - I am afraid to ask how much you have invested in that suspension lol

I had an 11" lift on my old 79 F150 and talk about top heavy lol Brought it down to a 7" lift and was able to pull in the garage with 35" tires. up until I put a roll bar and fog lights on top.

What are the lift laws where you and IOR are at?

Thanks man, Yeah they really dont enforce the laws down here. My rims are 20x10 fuel hostages.
