Couple Questions

Im currently deployed in Kirkuk Iraq:/ And now that I have the extra cash I wanna start building my truck...Just recently started reading Mud Life magazine and decided I want to build a good mud truck on some type of tractor tire, but one, dont have a clue on tractor tires on trucks and two, still not sure what type of suspension I want to go with yet...I know Im gonna have to get it high to run the tires and was thinking the Rize kit with a body lift...Anyone gone this route with their 04 or does anyone have any info that may help point me in the right direction? Much appreciated.

Going to tires like will require more than a suspension and body lift. The drive trane on these trucks are not designed for a load like that. You would want to look into getting rid of your IFS and replacing it with a SAS, using leaf springs or some kind of 4 link set up (this includes front and rear axles). This takes a lot of work, but to get you started you may want to follow this thread.

May also want to talk to a few of the members here: 4.2trimble, TheTinian, they have done a lot of work on his truck like what you are interested in.

You would be a million times better off by starting out with a one ton truck (F-350). The 1/2 ton F-150's suspension and drivetrain would never hold up.

Thats very doable. Rize would be a good way to go for 8, do keep in mind that if you go with something like 37'' or larger tires you should re-gear. Unfortunately the bigger you go the more it cost. Take care of yourself over there.
