Performance Accessories, and if they havent started doing it themselves yet replace all the bolts with grade 8 hardware

I agree. I'm on my third truck with a PA body lift and have never had a problem.

Wow,
I have darn near the same truck... lol

I just finished my BL install and can say without a doubt to go with Performance Accessories 3" setup for our trucks.

Other than getting off rusted stock bolts and nuts ( pain in *** )
The kit was a breeze to install. Everything you need is included in the 3" kit.

bit of a thread hijack-

i have a 2008 screw.

i have done a 2" AS level along with an AAL in the rear and have been bitten by the lifting bug! would adding a body lift gorp up the handling greatly with what i have already done? i will add new wheels/tires at the same time (spring/summer 2011) i do the body lift if the whole scheme makes sense!

cheers,

scott

You will be fine.

I just did mine, but am having to live with small factory tires until christmas. This makes it seem a little "loose" in turns because raising center of gravity and still being on small tires.

If you do the larger tires, particularly WIDER tires even everything out.

Im gonna do the 35 12.50 16s on 16x10s , with your truck I would go with a 17x10 or 18x10 ... but thats just me.

Dont think twice about it... do it and you will never regret it!!!

Do you have to weld the blocks after you put them it?

The poly lift blocks are all bolt in.

The overload spacers ( I think you are reffering to ) need to be welded in.

I just cleaned the frame with a bristle wheel and mixed up some J.B. Weld and put them in. They are not going anywhere...lol
