5100s + leveling kit?

Truck has over 105k on it now and i'm looking at possibly replacing the shocks. Has anyone run a leveling kit on top of the 5100s?

it can be done just be sure that they 5100's are set to the notch that keeps it at factory height (zero lift setting) and it will not be an issue.

So im assuming in order to get the lift out of both id probably have to replace the control arm because it would ride at way to harsh of an angle?

I doubt you could even get the front end bolted together if you try to combine the two for 4 or more inches of lift. If you want more than 2 or 2.5 inches of lift, add a body lift or go with a full suspension lift.

Don't do it... you'll regret it. I mean, if looks are more important to you than performance, comfort, and reliability, then I suppose you can pull it off if you try hard enough.

I just did the bilstein 5100's set at 2 inches leveled the truck and looks great! Like wandell said doubt u would be able to get it back together and if u did it prolly wouldn't stay together in working order for long! So either u level it with no more than 2.5 or you put a lift on It.
