torsion keys

Are torsion keys a good idea and how much trouble are they to install, I am kind of lazy but got the new rims on my 03 scew FX4 and a new set of BFG mud terrains and its looks great got me wanting to do more and this looks like a good way to start

Stay away from aftermarket torsion keys. All they do is allow to crank way to much preload into the bars and wear parts out faster. Just crank your factory bars or get a lift.

No, the 04+ NBS trucks have a coilover front suspension. You need a leveling kit, wether it be a spacer stacked on top of the coilover or a leveling shock.

agreed. stay away from aftermarket. and your torsion keys are at the end of your torsion bars in the rear. on my scab its right under the rear door. but if you have a 2x4 you dont have torsion bars. just crank you stock ones and u can get a good 1.5inches or even 2inches.
