Lift kit help!!

I have a 1998 f-150, at the moment i am running 255 70/r16s on all 4 wheels. I am totally clueless on this lift kit stuff but i know i want to put at least a 2in lift on the truck. In order to achieve the 2in lift and have the same clearence on all 4 tires i would also need to install a leveling kit. Correct? Thanks in advance! im so lost on this subject

If your not mechanically inclined..

If you are then by looking at the kit you can create the lift you want without buying it. (lift blocks and torsion keys)

Though some members have said changing keys or maxing out the front will create bad CV angles. I've only seen one truck in person with different torsion keys, and the CV's didn't look that bad to me

But why pay $200 for a kit that allows you to do something that you can do for free?
If you have a 4x4, crank up the preload on the torsion bars.
If you have a 4x2, install some Daystar coilspring spacers.
