As a general rule, if you do serious offroading, you would want a long travel kit.

Depends on what you want to do with it and how much coin you want to shell out for it. Long travel is best for high speed off road use. If you want to do crawling SAS is the way to go, but a LT kit would be better than a conventional kit. For mudding a LT kit might have a slight advantage because you are draggin a little less stuff through the mud, but wouldnt be worth the extra $$ IMO.

Go big or go home! Go jd fab or dixon bros LT. Everyone and their neighbor has a conventional life, if you got the cash, use it and build a truly unique truck.

Sounds like the money portion shouldn't be an issue then. JD Fabrication and Dixon Bros Racing both make 4WD LT kits for our trucks. And from what I hear they are both great kits. I hope to put one of those kits on my truck as well one day.

yeha the one thing i DONT like about the LT kits is the fact they all widen the stance of the front end a lot..

One thing is that if you go long, you will probably have to replace both front fenders and find some way to move out the rear fenders above the tire. So the tire can travel and not hid the wheel lips.
