'04 3" leveling kit

I have had my 04 F150 4x4 Screw for over 5 months now and installed a 3" leveling kit on it. Well, the leveling kit didn't level my truck. It still sits an inch higher in the back than the front. Is there something wrong with my truck? Is there something I need to adjust? You may have noticed several of threads from me near the top, that is because I am desperate for an answer and I want to get my truck sitting with the proper stance (level) as soon as possible b/c I hate the front end rake. If anyone knows the problem or can help me find the problem, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

From what i understand the 04-05 models tend to have more rake than the 06-08's to begin with..

How many miles are on your truck? The older your springs are and the more mileage you have on them the more rake your going to have.. I have a friend who has a stock 04 FX4 with over 100k and his rake is ridiculous

How thick are your spacers and where did you buy them? Some sellers dont sell true leveling kits. Example: When i purchased my 2.5" kit on "ebay" I emailed every seller that had both 2" and 2.5" leveling kits that interested me and I asked them how thick there spacers were. 99% of the reply's i got were 1.5" for both the 2" and 2.5". From what i understand and someone correct me if im wrong, true 2" leveling kits are 1.5" thick, 2.5" are 1.75" and 3" are 2" thick.

If neither of the 2 pertain to you, you can always lower the rear 1".

Do you have 6 leaf springs? The previous owner could have added a add-a-leaf for towing stability reasons. My truck came with an add a leaf. It was un-leveled when I bought it, the rake was insane. Sitting in the truck I could feel the rear end boost. I have the Bilstein 5100 kit and the struts are set at 2" lift, it feels near OEM rake of an 06+ model.

2" Bilstein level.

The shocks might be the cause, but the leveling kit measurments might be the problem too. The guy I bought my kit from on ebay said that the spacer was 1.75" thick and would give me 3" of lift. Thinking back now, the spacers gave me a little over 2.5" inches of lift because I remember measuring afterwards but thought nothing of it. If a 3" spacer should be 2" thick like you said, I was lied to. Any idea of where to buy a legit 3" kit with a reasonable price? Back to the shocks. My truck is an 04 Screw 4x4 with 166,000 miles on it. The previous owner was a farmer, and where I live, farmers drive their trucks hard through who knows what. They don't baby their trucks like we do. I'm thinking both are contributing factors. But im probably going to buy a 2wd 1" rear lift kit, remove the factory 2" block and drop the rear. Thats probably the cheapest way out.

I know you are new, but just so you know it's against the rules to post multiple threads on the same topic. Most members know this and it may cause them to just ignore your threads.
