I had a buddy of mine make these up for me a coupla years ago. Based on the stock Ford mounting system, so if you wanted you could fab your own. He used 1/4" plate and a 20,000lb rated eye bolt.

When I installed the body lift, I trimmed the frame horns back about 3" or so, and I flipped the custom tow hook over, and bolted it inside the frame.
I haven't got a close-up pic of the finished product yet, but I'll grab one in the morning.

So I got to keep my cool custom tow hooks, and they cover the open frame horn that was exposed after the body lift.

Nice, yeah I did the same, trimmed the frame horns all the way back to that mounting plate, but never got around to mounting tow hooks back on there. I like that closed style vs. the open style (GM hooks that mount) a lot more.

It has absolutely nothing to do with your suspension. Lifting the cab off of the frame with spacers effects absolutely nothing suspension wise.

I am getting ready to install a PA 3" bl on mine and if you are mechanically savvy enough to take this project on your self then it will cost less than $300

Paying someone to install a bl is not cost effective.
Do it yourself, take your time, read instructions carefully and save a TON of money.

Im not sure, Im no mechanic, like I said I heard that everything drops on the suspension. I really would like to know the truth because I may just put one on too.

And I agree that self installation is the best way

As said before the suspension is not touched. You may just be interpreting it wrong as the body is lifted off the frame/ suspension so I guess it could be considered dropped from the body.

Idk when i put my body lift on it was a pain in the butt haha. But come to think about it when i installed my 12inch Rize by myself idk which one was harder lol. Might of been the Rize bc it was a Beotch to move that axle by myself and then try to re align it back up there haha. But really if you can do it yourself then do it and save yourself a ton of money
