factory lift?

factory lift?
Hi folks,
I have a 95 f150 4 x 4 with a 5 liter. I see the rear axle does not sit on the spring perch like my freinds (same year). Mine has a 2-3 inch block (with a handle) between the perch and axle. My front end is rated higher than his as well, even though it does not have the quad shock system. Is this a special order? Maybe a factory installed lift?
Reason I ask is it's time to replace the shocks again..want to get the correct length. I installed Rancho 7000 series on them last time (8 years ago) and don't remember what I ordered or if I even took that into consideration.
Sorry for the long winded post...I'm keeping this truck and plan a full resto along the way ( only 93 and change on the odometer...still runs like new!)
Thanks and Regards,
Rick C.
