Replacing Coilover Shocks

Im thinking about purchasing some used Skyjacker Coilovers for my procomp stage 1 6"lift, but im new to the whole suspension thing. If I get the skyjacker coils, can I replace the actual shock portion if its work out? And if so what do I need to look for or what are they called?

I dont do any heavy off roading, so Im sure that if bilstein makes a shock that will work, then it will do good.

Okay, got ya. So I just need to find shocks that are designed for at least 6" of lift. Do you have a link or a model number or something?

Or is there a better option to get rid of the front huge spacer?

Either those coils man or just get those bilsteins made for 6inch lifts. Prob end up being your best bet because you get new shocks and a better ride. Plus if you want you could throw a leveling kit on top of that later on. I wish i was in texas because id come over and install all of that stuff for you.
