4" Rough Country Lift w/35s

I have an '05 Lariat 4x4; completely stock. I want to fit 35" Nitto Trail Grappler tires, and from what I've been reading it looks like the 4" Rough Country Suspension lift is my best bet to not spend a ton of money and still get the look I want. Anyone have any pics of this so I can visualize? Any input on this lift and quality? I don't do a lot of offroading; pretty much just during hunting season.

I'm also thinking since the 295/70/R18 Trail Grapplers are only 11.5" wide and I'm keeping stock wheels, I might use wheel spacers to push them out a little. Is this a good idea? Will the 35" tires rub with a 4" lift and wheel spacers?

They shouldn't rub with wheel spacers but if you are set on the 4in and using your stock rims then i would go with the 4in rancho lift

i'm shopping for a 4" lift and I have stock 20" rims. what is the advantage of the Rancho over the RC? Why can the Rancho accomodate the stock 20" rims while the RC can't? Thanks in advance...

Rancho has a much better reputation than Rough Country. The backspacing requirements have to do with the way the knuckles are designed I believe.

you can fit a 35x12.50 on a stock wheel with a leveled 4x4 (2-2.5" spacer up front)

like already said rancho has a much better reputation, a few people on the power stroke forum have had their rough country lifts break while driving down the road.

as for spacers i'd recommend not doing it just for safety alone. i'm running the 35x12.5x18 trail grappler on my superduty with stock wheels and the tires stick out of the wheel well just barely.

If you dont do alot of off roading I would just do a leveling kit and 295's. But its what you want and how much your willing to spend. I have been told that the mud grapplers rub a little bit with a leveling kit but thats due to the side lugs

Yea I have a 05 Screw with 35x12.5x20 Trail Grapplers and 2.5 Rough Country leveling kit it rubs only at full lock on the upper control arm, wheel spacers are on the way. The tires only stick out like .25 in.
Pics in profile.

btw i love the tires, do awesome in mud and really quiet onroad
