Rough Country 2.5" Leveling Kit Help

Today I attempted to install my rough country leveling kit. Everything went smoothly until reinstalling the struts. The first problem I encountered was having to turn the strut 180 degrees to get the bolts to line up with the holes in the frame. The second problem I have is the strut seems to be angeled outward towards the tire thus making it almost impossible for me to get the strut all the way in place (I even tried using a compression tool).

Any help, ideas, or solutions would be greatly appreciated. I will try to include some pictures in the morning to help describing my problem.

not sure your hang up. the few i have done i just put the top inplace and snug up the bolts and then the bottom slips right in to the control arm.

I just installed my RC leveling kit too, and yes i had to rotate the strut 180 degrees. As for the bottom of the strut, lift up your lower control arm with a jack, then use some muscle and push the strut in until it lines up with the holes for the bolts

I just installed mine, I dunno if you still have the problem, but like he said jack up the lower control arm a bit, it helps to have a buddy to push the bottom strut into place and guide it into place. I have to admit it takes time and effort but it will go back in.
