'98 F-150 XLT automatic body lift kit
Hello, I just have a couple of questions over a lift kit for my truck.
I have been hearing some good things about Rough Country, and have also heard about some issues, due to the design of this year, about the cab and the bed being considerably closer with a lift(gravity of course) and was wondering if this is really major and if there is anyway to fix it, or at least make it less of an issue.
(from fordf150.com tutorial :])
Also, under the tech at Rough Country(http://www.roughcountry.com/body_lift_tech.html), what does (5 :: It may be necessary to drill the front two body bushing sleeves out to ½" for new bolt clearance.
) mean. :]
Any and all help is always accepted and appreciated.
Thanks yall,
Tyler

WARNING TO VEHICLE OWNER - due to the design of this vehicle, it is more likely for the cab to make contact with the bed after a body lift has been installed. Use extreme care while operating this vehicle off-road or under any conditions that will cause the frame to torque considerable.

The cab/bed contacting is not an issue, except you have to watch it during installation. And yes, the front bushings have to be drilled out. It's not a big deal. Also, I'd recommend the Performance Accessories body lift. They make the most complete kits on the market.
