alignment ?
I got a 2" AS leveling kit and will be putting it on soon and need an alignment afterward. I have checked Tuffy and my local mechanic and they don't do alignments. Is $59.99 a good price for a 4 wheel alignment? The price is from Exit 11 Tire which is fairly close to me. Does anyone know of any other places that I can get an alignment at a decent price and would do it correctly? I know Pep Boys does them but there isn't one anywhere relatively close to me. I don't want to end up at a dealer because I'm pretty sure alignments were over $100 last time I looked at the pricing poster in the service department. Thanks

Good to hear its a fair price. The only thing I don't really like is that they said they would want to have the truck for a half day in case they have to keep making adjustments. I would love to take it somewhere where I can just wait for like a hour and be out. That way I could do it early in the morning before work and schedules don't get all screwed up.

It's a good price, but you don't need a 4-wheel alignment. With a solid rear axle, the rear isn't adjustable.
My dealer charged me $49.99 and it was bout an hour.. Toe was only thing that was out of spec, and it was barely out...I did the 1.5AS

Got a couple more prices.
NTB: 79.95 1.5hrs to complete
Conrads: 69.95 1hr to complete
Mullinax Ford, Mike Bass Ford: 59.95 for 2 wheel 1-1.5hrs to complete
I actually think I'll be going to a dealer since the price isn't bad at all and I can set up an appointment for like 7 or 7:30 in the morning and be done before work.
Thanks for the advice guys.

Got my alignment today at Mullinax Ford. Total cost was like $63. My truck was washed when I went to pick it up too. The left tire was perfect but the right tire was .45" off. I was surprised that they were not equally off or at least closer than that, but I'm all perfect now and that's all I'm worried about. The guy that worked on my truck complimented me on my stereo, rear window sticker and CAI so I was happy to hear that from someone that works for a dealer. Usually everyone frowns upon anything that isn't stock.
