Clunk in front end
Clunk in front end
about a week ago i was driving through a parking lot and heard a clunk in my front end i only hear it when i am turning left in a parking lot or slow turns i know i have a blown out front shock i took it to my buddys shop for my ball joints and tie rod ends which i thought was the clunking but he said both were fine any ideas on wat it could be also the swar bay link is in good shape
Are you sure about the sway bar links? I had the same issue and it was my links. I replaced with NAPA parts and a week later the noise was worse. Switched to Moog and the problem is gone. It turns out that the design used in the 04s was only used for one year. Draw your own conclusion. Hope this helps.
You 4WD ? If so its just your CV Axle making the clunking noises when turning or going over bumps. Mine will do that if i turn it kinda hard to either side when going slow or over bumps and turning. Not that big of a deal man. You will hear the same noise sometimes whenever you come out of 4wd
