add-a-leaf or block or air bags best over all?

I just put a 2.5 level on my 08' f150. Its sits perfect. My problem is when i pull my trailer is sits down in the rear fairly easy. I was really thinking about doing the add-a-leaf (very cheap, and easy to install), but i'm being told the air bags are the way to go. need advice.

I've had air bags on a couple of trucks and loved them. My '01 F-350 dually with Ride-Rites was the best riding truck I've ever owned. Since the air bags are completely adjustable they are the clear choice for towing applications. Yes they do cost more but even a half baked mechanic with two left thumbs (that would be me) can install them.

bags will be the best so not to alter the ride. a block (3") will be the easiest fastest install. the add a leafs can be a pain.

Bags! It's only money dude...what else are you going to do with it. Guarantee you're already blowing the price difference between bags and other options on something else anyways.

I'm running a set of AAL from Auto Springs and I don't think it made the truck ride to bad. But I am also in the process of ordering a set of air bags because some of the loads I hall still make the truck sag pretty bad.

IMO, the air bags were easier to intall than the blocks. I have a 2.5 AS and initially installed their 3" block. I have since replaced the block with the air bags. I really like the versatility of the bags both for levelling with a load and for dialing in just the right amount of rear lift I want to match the 2.5 AS when unloaded.

If you want to take it a step further, you can get an onboard air compressor with an in cab inflate/deflate setup. Here is a good deal from the classifides:

I don't know about easier than blocks blocks take about 15 minutes to install. i just did a set of superlift add a leafs and they ride great they are a thinner material so that kept the stiffness down. bags again would better if you loading up 500 or more lbs of tongue weight
