i have thought about the fabtech but im still n school and the rough country is prised right 4 me an 1600 installed at local shop the fabtech runs like 1600 to 1900 plus another 600 for install i realy want the fabtech but jus cant afford it right now but thanks 4 the advice greatly appreciated and nice nice truck man !!!!!!!!!!

If your only looking for 4-5 inches of lift. Take a look at some of the 3" BL's and 35's trucks. I think they look freakin sweet, and its very cheap. If you are going to spend the money and have a suspension lift installed, be patient, save a little more, and go bigger.

A monkey with a wrench can install a Fabtech lift, I think you can too. Skip the shop man, in my experience half the people that work at shops are brain dead anyway.

one of my friends just got the rough country lift installed, and it turned out great no pics though since when we went muddin it was dark

Come on guys, arguing about a lifted vs. a dropped truck is as pointless as arguing over which one of these chics is the hottest. The way I see it, if you got either one that's pretty freakin' sweet!

Just crank up the preload on the torsion bars. The "leveling kit" you are considering is just a set of reindexed torsion bar adjustment keys. They allow you to put way too much preload on your torsion bars which destroys your ride quality and increases wear and tear on your CV and ball joints.

I think they have a nice hummm going down the road. Not real loud but you can tell a bigger truck is coming.
