Yes, you can fit them on a 4x4 with a leveling kit using the OEM wheels (17x7.5 with 5.5 inches of backspacing) or an aftermarket 17x8 inch wheel with 5.5 inches of BS. The wheel you use is the secret to fitting them.

Several members do. It's just that this gets asked about 2 times a week. Try doing a search and you should find several threads.

"tires" dont give you more hieght, thats what the suspension is for...imo a 35" tire looks stuffed and 33 looks right at home....SEARCH BUTTON!!! heck u can revive an old thread if ur lucky

Tires will give you more useful height then a suspension lift, And IMO 33's look retarded with a leveling kit, step up to 35's or dont bother.

I'm running 35x12.50-17's on 17x8.5" wheels I had to do some trimming in the back of the fenders but other then that no issues. Heres a crappy pic.

you gain 1" of lift from every 2" more of tire.

so if you go from a 31" tire to a 35" tire you gain 2" of lift. the advantage of tires is they get the axles higher from the ground.

suspension lift gets your frame and body of the truck higher from the ground.

look up pawpaw he runs 315/70/17's on aftermarket wheels leveled. i think crfrider (red/grey fx4 ext cab) runs 35's on stock wheels. both really good looking trucks

i agree with your math, of the 2:1 ratio on tire and hieght, of course the axles sit higher with bigger tires, but look at the black truck that was recently posted that guy would gain more advantage out of the tires and put em to real good use with a body lift minimum, cuz rite now it just looks like he cant afford for the rest of suspension or BL items...if your in need/want of a rugged look 33s complete job and look better.....BUT thats my 2 cents as i am talkin from a point of view where i like things lookin proportional, and where trimming isnt needed!! tires have to look like they belong on a truck, not looking like their half done

Run the 35's I have 35x12.50 on a 20x10 wheel with a leveling kit. And mines a 2wd so your 4wd shouldnt have a problem with the wheels you want to run

theres a few ideas of 35s leveled.......and i dont agree with fine style......i dont understand where you get off sayin that it looks like he doesnt have the money to lift his truck, who are you to say that? maybe thats the look he wanted. you gonna say the same thing about mine? you should keep dumb comments to yourself.

oh and by the way the other truck its 6 inch lift on 37s.
