If you're familiar with chicken/range rd, its down past where st. mere drop zone is. I'd recommend going there on like sunday afternoons so ya don't have to worry about any people driving by, even though its a fairly remote area. Last time I was out there some guy riding his bike asked me if I was allowed to be out there haha. Its one of the better spots I've found around here since its only a 5 min drive from my house.

You can also talk about ways to get some extra height in the back with a leveling kit, whether it be an add-a-leaf, airbags or a 3" block. Also put in there that you can fit 35's on aftermarket wheels that are 8" wide with atleast 5.5" of backspacing with minimal trimming with a 2.5" level.

Awesome write up!! Very helpful!! I have a 2wd v6. Is it going to hurt anything to regear first and then go to a 33 or 35 inch tire. I know it will be fun off the line but am I going to burn up transmission/rearend etc?

I know this is a little old thread, but I have searched and searched and this is where I have been lead. Is there anything wrong with the lift shackle in the back? I have an 08 supercrew 4x4 and I ma about to put on a 2.5 AS leveling kit on the front and the lift shackle sounds like a good idea for the rear but nobody has them?

if i went a 2.5" level would i be able to run 34"-35" tire with a 20x9 rim with 0 offset a 5" back spacing or a 20x9 with -12 offset and 4.5" back spacing?

Would this set up have trimming/rubbing issues?

I looked it up man and it seems to be longer struts and an aal for the rear. IMO thats crap sense it doesnt include a bigger lift spindle so your ball joint angles are just as bad with a 3inhc leveling kit but thanks man.

12" Bulletproof suspension for 2wd and 4wd... 2.5 level on 2wd clears 35" tires very easily. I have 9.5" wide wheels and the back of the inner fenderwell is barely cut. Not a single rub. 37's with 6" lift will fit both 2wd and 4wd with minor trimming.. 37's can also be used with oe wheels or 8" wide with minimal backspacing with 2.5" level and 3" body.. i like to cram. haha
