im new to this forum but i have a 2008 ford f150 60th anniversay supercab with a recently added skyjacker 2.5 leveling kit and a roush offroad exhaust. i am looking to get a add a leaf because it sits lower in the back when i tow my trailer with my 4 wheelers and even when i dont tow and i have weight in the bed its a 6.5 bed ? need help to what i should do. thanks

 

Hey there, welcome to the forum.

I think a lot of guys in this forum have had good luck with the AAL to give it the lift you need, and since you tow, probably be the best and cheapest option.

Alternatively, I know others on here have gone the airbag route to give you some added towing capacity, but its a bit more expensive.

 

alright thanks. i think im going to go with the skyjacker add a leaf but will it make the rear higher and do i have to change anything else to my truck now that i have the leveling kit and the add a leaf will this mess anything up to my truck?

 

No you will be fine, I was in the same boat as you. I had a 2.5" level but do quite a bit of towing and the add a leaf really put the back up to where I wanted it and it doesnt sag as much now with heavy loads.

 

thanks again after i got it leveled in the front it seemed lower in the back. i kinda like it higher in the rear i just wanted to be higher in the front without spending a lot of money b/C im trying to save up for xd monsters or rockstars with bfg km mud terrains
