Suspension+Body ?'s

I have a 97 F150 black flareside ext cab, buddy of mine had a two inch tuff country suspension lift on the same truck about of couple of months old and is planning on going higher and will be hooking me up with that. I am in college and money is tight, so its a steal. Kinda interested in buying a 3" body lift for it, any comments with the combo would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with the 2" Tuff Country lift, but ANY lift is better than none

The body lift is the cheapest way to lift (other than a hook up from a friend ) and is fairly easy to install, just takes a little time. Make sure you get a PA(performance accessories) Body Lift

ditto on what Gator Crew said. They're pretty straight forward and simple installs, just time consuming. If the tuff country lift is just torsion keys and rear blocks I wouldn't install the keys. Just crank your torsion bars with the stock keys and add the blocks and you should be set. Those aftermarket keys can lead to premature wear on your CVs and balljoints.

haha yeah man its 4x4, wouldnt have it any other way, and yeah its 4" blocks and keys, so ditch the keys and crank the torsion bar sounds good to me. now im hoping to run 33's without messing with the gears, but i could clear 35's right? and if it comes down to regearing then im set on 35's unless you guys have a better opinion in mind, im open to anything.

You can fit 35x12.50's at stock height if you use the stock wheels. If you add a body lift you can fit the 35x12.50's using stock or wider aftermarket wheels. Just crank up the torsion bars enough to level the truck.
