i have 35 12.5 20's on my 2.5 inch level kit and yes, they rub. Enough to break my stock fender flares off. go with the 3", If they werent so wide it wouldnt be a problem, the extra half inch is more than enough clearance for the 35's.
Hey man, looking at your truck in your gallery, what size/type tires are those and are those 18" Monsters?

Leaning towards the trails. Went wheel shopping today before I pull the trigger just in case. Start looking and the owner of the shop takes me out to his 2010 black platinum screw on 20s wrapped in some hankook 35sI dont know what to do now.

When I get some extra cash I plan on doing a 2.5" leveling kit. I run 33x12.50x17 ProComp MT and occasionally rub on the stock flares when backing into a parking space with the tires turned but otherwise no problems. I really just want the 2.5" front lift so the truck has the right attitude for the meaty tires. I've had this for 3 years now and for what it's worth these tires are incredible. Tires are 5 years old, ran them for 2 years on an '02 Ram ( then I got smart and bought a real truck) I have only run them in the summer and they have seen over 20k miles easily and still have about 75% tread left. They're also great in sticky mud!
Picture isn't the most up to date, no more tonneau cover or steps, but I have a low profile toolbox in the bed. Also need to replace the front bumper as painted bumpers don't hold up well to NY winters and road salt, will most likely put a chrome bumper on just for durability.

Ya I would if it did but sadly I only got a 4.6....ya I no wish I had a 5.4. My dads got the 06 5.4 and its got a ticking noise on it to but you can only tell when your are just sitting there idling. I don't got the stuff to do it but otherwise I would.

Did the rear block myself but the front was done by a local shop. The first time I towed i knew I needed the rear block.

great work sadixon. I don't tow a lot of things other than the four wheeler and mower sometimes, but i really think the extra 1.5" inches of height in the back will give my truck a meaner stance.
