The above kits are widely used by many on this forum, myself included and are much easier to install than the "coil spring booster" you showed a pic of. You can level your truck one of these three ways, but they are all considered "Leveling Kits":
1. A spacer, like the one you are referring to as a coil spring booster, that goes inside the strut, requiring a spring compressor to install. This preloads the coil spring resulting in lift and a slightly stiffer ride.
2. A spacer, like I showed in the links, that simply sits on top of your strut assembly, no special tools required to install. This just spaces your stock strut down resulting in lift, ride is identical to stock and it is the cheapest.
3. New front struts like the Bilstein's or the Rancho Quick Lifts. These actually raise the lower spring seat on the shock resulting in lift. This also preloads the spring resulting in lift and a slightly stiffer ride.
Personally, I went with the 2.5" Auto Spring kit in the link above because my truck was only 2 mos old. When the stock shocks are ready for replacing, I will get the Bilstein kit, like this: http://www.topguncustomz.com/Store/G...view=193574766

Go with the spacer. It's definitely the easiest way to level your truck. I used a 1 1/2 inch autospring spacer and it made all the difference in the looks of the truck and ride quality stays the same.

Your buddy needs to stop using Meth. Those things will destroy your coilsprings along with your ride quality. I'd also stop hanging around him before he suggests you get some mudflaps with the chrome naked lady, diamond plate running boards or homemade bumpers fabricated from metal pipe.
