Transformation Expedition Enjoy!

Hey guys well I've been meaning to post the transformation of my expedition and I figured today was that day. As some of you know, I have a 2wd expedition and I've decided to put it up in the air with a 6" suspension lift and 3" body lift. My expedition came stock with the air ride system and I have since converted it to coil springs with a fabtech lift kit. Although the truck is not yet finished I will keep everyone posted as I finish projects on it. Today I finished painting most of the two tone molding from tan to black except the front and rear bumper. All the chrome will be gone as soon as I can finish painting. Feel free to ask questions about anything on the truck. I'm glad to help anyone out that wants to tackle some of the projects I did. I'll start with all the before pics and move to where the truck sits today. Enjoy the pics and expect more to come!

Just got the truck tinted

Removed running boards

Lightning heads and speed grille

Blackout lightning heads

6" fabtech lift kit (the 6" springs are the same kit for the 4wd expedition and they work for the 2wd)

Conversion pics (with air bags still in)

Conversion pics (with 6" fabtech lift coils, track bar relocation kit)

These pics are only with the 6" lift. I have not yet installed the 3" body lift and will begin that project soon.

Thanks for viewing!

Thanks everyone. As for the rims I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get monsters but I also like the hoss wheels as well. I'm going to take measurements after the body lift to see if I can run 37s but if I can't, I'll just stick to 35s or 36s. Heres what I'm thinking 18" monsters with 37" mud grapplers or toyo m/ts. If I can't run the 37s, I'm gonna go with 36" IROKS with 20" monsters. Basically, I'm looking into the costs of things and each setup is close to the same cost besides the toyos are way more expensive but you can get more miles out of them. So I'm a little unsure about tire choice right now. As for the camber it is fixed after everything that I had to deal with. I got new upper control arms replaced all the ball joints (upper and lower) replaced the sway bar end links and got new camber bolts for each side with more adjustment. It feels like a completely new truck with the new suspension. I'm just waiting to get an alignment after tires and rims. The truck is drivable and the alignment is still close but the camber is still off because I'm not really sure how to get that exact so I'll just let someone do that for me. Its a never ending process haha
