Traction Bars

Do traction bars alter the ride quality of your truck? Do they help with body sway in any way or just to eliminate axle hop/wrap?

I am interested as well to know.. my bed seems to shake at highway speed. Traction bars might be the "coolest" way to stop it. Let me know what you find out. Thanks

traction bars only keep your wheels from hooping. Like when your see truck pulling or drag racing, there wheels dont hoop cause of traction bars. basically they just keep your tires down on the ground, instead of bouncing. Hope this helps out.

traction bars eliminate axle wrap and wheel hop...

if you need a tire balanced, or an alignment traction bars won't help solve your maintenance issues, have you guys considered adding a rear sway bar??

Over 1 million Ford Mustangs have them on a solid rear axle.

Hellwig as well as others sell them for trucks.
