Question level kit/alignment question

Just installed a 2.5 h.b.s.kit on my 07s.c.2wd rest of suspension is stock. read a lot on this site before buying and installing.Figured on post install allignment but now am hearing i need different cams to get it right.Cast/camber i presume. Is this b.s. or if needed can i get them from parts store?
kit was affordable but 4wheel parts telling me 140bucks for the allignment alone.Whats up with that? For any interested truck is close to an inch higher in front now.only 18,000on truck.not thrilled but it'll grow on me.2" would have been the ticket.

just throw an aal or block in the back. i hear napa has the camber kit which you'll probably need but i wouldnt do it at 4wheel. pick a competent shop for the alignment.

I haven't had any problems with my alignments when I get them done. A couple of places have said its maxed out and can't go any further and had to sign a liability waiver or something

Very few members here have needed adjustable camber bolts to get their alignment within specs. As for alignment cost, it varies from area to area. $39 is the average cost in my area.

good to know, havent yet done my alignment. figured i've seen alot of members need them. i looked into it to see how much just in case. $39 is the start for my area but that is not a reputable shop. around here is average $69.

I want to put a 2.5 inch leveling kit but dont know which one to put. I have looked at a lot and the prices vary a lot. Which one of these is better Ford F150 2WD/4WD 2.5" Billet Aluminum Leveling Lift Kit or the poly kit

Doesn't matter if you go with steel, polly or aluminum, it all works the same. Most members here have found the steel Autospring kit to be a quality kit at a great price (around $70).

you got autospring, hell bent steel, and your typical rough country, skyjacker, readylift, etc.

personnally i like h.b.s but autospring is prob the best. the others just cost too much cause of the name.

Should just be toe that is out. Mine was way out. Alignment guy said it went back to perfect specs. Cost me $104 for alignment. I didnt shop around. Shop does good work and they were waiting for me. It was worth an extra $30-40 to get it done close, fast and right.

alot of people will have camber off cause the upper control arm is at a different angle than factory. if they dont check the camber they are not really doing you justice. granted the toe will be off no matter what.

camber will be a negative offset and toe as well. both need a positive adjustment.
