Hello everyone! This forum rocks. thanks sooo much for all the expert advice and knowledge. I have an 05 250 ( 130K) with a shimmy on the front left. I remember a year or so ago receiving a letter from Ford discussing the issue but thought nothing of it at that time. Well, I have checked the brakes, put on new tires and aligned the truck to no avail. I have a new stabilizer shock but can't firgure out how to change. I guess my question is two-part.

1. will replacing the stabilizer shock remove the shimmy?

2. how hard is it to replace this shock and can I do it without special tools?
