yea well if i would have had the money i may have went with a better one but i didn't have the budget so i went with rough country and like i've said it is just as good as any other lift. If you are not gonna be hard on your truck then more than likely you will not hurt a single part of the lift and not have to use the warranty. All depends on how much cash you want to shell out.
I should have put lol behind that last comment, it was a joke. Looking at both warranties they are pretty much the same neither one covers normal wear and tear. They only cover factory defects. I have talked to a couple of members on here who run the rc lifts and couldn't be happier, but I will definitely talk to my buddy and see if he can get me the bds for around the same price.
I'm looking into the rc lift as well for the wifes 05 in the sig. They actually make the bds about a 1/2 hour away from me at there factory and they sell directly from the local offroad store. They still want $2000 for the basic 6in lift.Thats there best deal so looks like it will be rc for me.
Kicker braces are also called compression struts. They tie the frame into the lowered crossmember. This is necessary and should not even be optional, on road or off.
I agree that you get what you pay for and a higher end kit that comes with everything needed to make the truck perform to it's potential is worth the extra money. You also want to consider the Trail Master kit for that reason.

thats a big no on the trail master that thing is like 2500 bucks and its only 4" in the back. I can see paying a cupple hundred bucks but not looking to spend that much right now.
dont let these people persuade you into paying out the butt for a lift kit when all are basically the same. Unless you wan coilovers go with the RC lift and you will be happy. Everything is built with high quality stuff and built very heavily

If money is tight, you can do a 3" body lift or 5" premium lift ($519) by Performance Accessories, the same company that makes Trail Master.
or you could do like im fixing to do. $1400 6 inch suspension $300 body lift $100 2.5 inch auto spring $100 AAL and have 11.5 inches of lift for $1900, about the same price your gonna pay for one of those lifts mentioned.
That will be huge! Don't forget a set of gap guards to go with the body lift (about $75).
I dont want a body lift right now I want a sus. lift but by the time I wear out the 35" mud grapplers I'm going to buy I will add the 3" body lift and 37" tires and gears.
