Coilover: coil cover/wrap?

I have been searching around for a coil spring wrap/cover for the winter months and have not had much luck finding anything. As far as I know King does not have any that I saw, nor do any of the other big manufacturers. I'm hoping some of you guys might know a good place to get a holt of a set.

With "all this snow" (less than 5" so far this year) they are already throwing insane amounts of sand/salt on the roads. The biggest issue is the drifts and blowing snow across roads that come with the 40-50 mph panhandle winds. More snow is supposed to be here tomorrow and again Thursday so the sooner the better; after just a few ventures out in the sand/salt my Kings are showing it

A lot of ATV riders that race MX and GNCC style races use them. I don't know if any of those manufacturers make covers large enough to fit your coilovers but that may be an option. I know some of the older Polaris ATV's used struts up front that were huge.

Try a set of panty hoes (serious). Just cut them to size.

When I go to the dunes I put a panty ho over my k&n to help keep the sand out. If you double wrap a set on your coilovers it might help keep them insulated and keep the salt off of them.

thats actually a good idea ^

Im not entirely sure how well that will work for the coilovers, but thats an excellent idea for the air filter I will have to try that when Im wheeling on the beach. You might try some of that painter's clear tarp stuff... just cut it and tape it... I mean, I know it'll be kinda ghetto looking, but hey man you've put a lot of money into that truck, it'd be a shame to see the coilovers get messed up... and ya know that tape residue will come off a lot easier than it will be to replace or repaint the coilvers. Hope that helps ya some!

It took forever but I finally got a google search to hit on something and found these, but 30 bucks a piece is steep http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...ps-p-2278.html

I may do as you guys suggested and try making my own out of some tarp/heavy plastic and velcro. The pantyhouse Idea might work, but I can't slip it over w/out taking the shock loose. A good idea though, and if all else fails its worth a shot.

Ya those panty hoes work like a charm on the air filter at the dunes.

I see what your talking about, you cant just slip them over without taking the actual shocks off. Yeah dude I live in Arizona so we dont have much snow here

Those shock covers look like they could work but you're right $30 bucks is pretty steep for each cover.
