What are your angles like? Do you have any pics? They should not be tearing like that. I had a 4x4 shop replace a boot on my old 03 f150 and they used an aftermarket boot. It did appear more durable, but I dont know who made it. Guess what I am getting at is there are aftermarket boots out there, but I think you have a greater problem. Especially since its the same one each time.

this is not what you want to hear, but the problem is that you have you have a leveling kit, or cranked coilovers. when the coilover is cranked up, the lower control arm is forced down, taking half of the cv joint with it. you are basically forcing the suspension to flex, and when it has to actually flex, the angles are forced even harsher, thus causing the cv boots to tear.

if you want to stop the tearing, remove the preload on the coilovers, and add a body lift if you want the height to stay the same. Or, yank out the fabtech kit and swap in a true 8'' suspension lift, such as the Rize kit.

i speak from experience here, i tore boots on both cv joints from having them at too harsh of angles.

ok... its just weird it only does it to the passenger side though? it does have 2" coil spacers too. I dont want to lose 2" of lift but it if i have to for the boots to stop tearing then i will

what exactly is your setup?

6" Fabtech... 2" Leveling kit (spacer)

what else. you shouldnt be ripping them that often with that setup. how often do you offroad? Anything rub against the boot?

yeah i agree that shouldn't rip the boots. there are tons of people that run that setup with no problems.

Im kinda wondering if he has a 6" Fabtech w/ dirt logics cranked for 8" PLUS 2" Leveling kit.

that would cause issues... alot of issues.

Looked at his profile he has just one pic. You can see a piece of his LCA and it does not look too bad from that angle. Def not OEM shocks, hard to judge the coil. It does sit up there pretty good.

no telling what he really has until he posts.

Cause 8" Fabtech means nothing since fabtech doesnt sell an 8" Kit.

yeah, it is a 6" fabtech lift kit, with the 2" daystar coil spacer. That is what I am saying i have other friends that run same setup with no problem at all! IDK what to do really? i need to post more pics too... the axles are not at a bad angle at all and I never offroad, only seen a gravel road every now and then!

yeah there is something else wrong with your setup...many people on here run the fabtech plus a 2" spacer and are not having those problems. You might want to re tighten everything and see if something is not installed right or a little outta whack. From my understanding the Fabtech 6" lift retains the factory or close to factory cv angles. Applying a minimal 2" spacer shouldn't be an issue....possibly running a 2.5 or a 3" would definitely affect it.
