Lift block question.

Alright, I have the doestch (sp?) spindles that I want picked out (3.5"), but I don't know what lift blocks to use, or where to find them. I want 3.5" blocks because the truck is already leveled, but if I can't get 3.5'" I'll settle for 3". These are for a 97 2wd. Does anyone have links where I could find these? Are they hard to install? Will they change the ride quality? Don't want to pay a fortune for them either, more like a best bang for your buck kinda thing. Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks fellas
- B

Problem solved. Do you know anything about installation and ride quality?

cant comment on ride quality but they are a simple install, just unbolt the factory ubolts add the block and new ubolts

youll probably need longer shocks too

I have Doestch 3" blocks and absolutely no use for them.. just saying.

As for ride quality.. I would say that there was not much difference at all when I had them on my truck. I am running 5" blocks right now, and all I could possible say is different is maybe its a little bit more stiff. I have no problems with them at all.

I was looking at the 3.5" spindles for my 97 and saw that the 3.5" is for 98-03 and they only make 3" for the 97's. If you order from doestch you will have to get the 3". I would check out Spring Tech and RCD. Spring Tech has a kit that has 3.5" lift spindles, 2" coil spacer and a 3" block for the rear with extended shocks for around $550 and its for a 97.
