Help with cranking coilovers

I've got the fabtech coilovers and want to crank them up to fit these 40's. However, here's my dilemma...I don't know how far to actually crank them. I am assuming just because there's all that thread...it doesn't mean I need to go all the way.

My top perch is sitting down about 3/4 of an inch- that's how they came. So does that count as some my lift? Or do I get an additional 2" plus that factory setting?

???
