Sealed or Greased...That is the Question???

So the lovely front end alignment shop told me I needed all new tie rod ends (all four), a new pitman arm, and a new idler arm...lovely!! They wouldn't even align the truck until I get those parts.

So, I shopped around for parts (cause I sure ain't payin them). Rock Auto carries Moog, which I've always thought was top shelf, and their stuff has grease fittings. They do carry some brands that are sealed. Price difference is negligible so which way would you go? Sealed would be nice from a maintenance standpoint, but is one heavier duty than the other??

You want grease fittings. If your OEM parts had grease fittings, they may not need replacing now.

Greased. P.M. is the key to most all issues. This will just give you an excuse to look everything over
