Leveling kit help PLEASE!

Last week I bought my first 4x4 truck. 06 SuperCrew F150 XLT 4x4.
I've NEVER owned anything but Ford trucks but this is my first 4x4. 2 days after I bought it I put a new set of 285/70/17 tires on it.
I LOVE the truck but really cant stand the look of it with the front down like it is. So I REALLY need some expert help on which leveling kit to put on it to make it level. I'd much rather it be a little low in the front than higher in the front than the back.
So, which brand should I have the least long term problems out of AND should I go with 1 1/2", 2" or 2.5"?
ANY and all info, opinions and pics would be greatly appreciated!!!

Here's my baby... (The front doesn't look so low in this pic for some reason)

Cuz...I too am a newbie...in fact this is my second post (first one just saying hi). I just purchased the 2.5 inch autosprings leveling kit and the autosprings AAL. The guy at autosprings suggested going with a 2" w/o AAL or 2.5" with AAL. I will have pictures up here next week or so. There is a thread on here that describes the whole leveling kit install, you might try searching for that or check the link below. Got to thank Txst8tJ for the write up.

autospring is a really good brand that a ton of guys here have simply because it is a solid kit that doesnt cost much. i have the 2.5 " kit on my truck and it sits with the front slighty sagged, but you can barely tell

Add-A-Leaf. I believe the only place to get the AS kit is EGay though, which blows because my dang account is locked.

There a leaf spring that you put in your leaf package and it will put the back up usually somewhere around 1.5-2", alot of people will put the 2.5" and then an add a leaf in to get a little bit of rake back into the truck. I would stick with a 2" if you dont want to install an aal, go with an autospring like most people said it seems to be the most popular among members on the site.

PinchBetter, what setup do you have on yours? I like that but would like to stay a bit lower on the front.

Just finished with the 2.5 inch leveling kit this evening...the front sits (or to my eye) slightly higher (but I have a cap on the bed). I will post up some pictures before the leveling kit, after the 2.5 inch kit, and after the 2.5 inch and the add-a-leafs tomorrow afternoon. I hope it helps. I would go with the 2" if I were not going to do rear add-a-leafs or blocks. Also, the install was very simple..

PawPaw, that looks damn good! I have to stay a bit smaller on tires and such cause I drive 2 hours south and 2 hours back north EVERY weekend. Fuel would kill me!

Cuz, I drive right at 100 miles a day on my commute and if I take it easy I can get 17 mpg with these tires. When I had my 285x70x17 AT's I would easily get 18 mpg or better. Tire diameter and weight play hell with fuel mileage!
