Broken rear spring

Hi I have a broken rear spring on my 89 F150 ex cab. Half of the bottom leaf fell out. I need some opnions. Should I go new or used? If used can I just do the broken side or should I do both? If new I would plan on both sides. Any sources? The Parts stores around here (AZ and Advanced) would order used from some salvage co. NAPA and the dealer are closed untill I can call tommorow. I am not tring to be cheap, but Iam out of work and on disabilty right now, so I would like to save what i can. Thanks for any help. Bob

You can do just one leaf but the truck may lean a little depending on the age and condition of your spring vs the "new" one.

best bet would be finding a matching pair from a salvage truck and putting both on yours.
