Leveling Kit install reassemble problem..

Well I decided to finally try and put in my leveling kit today after sitting on it all summer.

Everything disassembling went smooth and I got the spacers on the top of the strut assembly and back bolted in.

What I can't get back together though is the ball joint on the upper control arm back connected to the spindle. I can't get the spindle to go high enough. Me and a buddy tried for a few hours using jacks and pry bars to try to get it to meet.....

I don't know what is wrong, it must be something simple that we can't see. Can someone help me out???

I'm going to pass out and hopefully wake up in the morning with some helpful stuff waiting!

Thanks in advance guys

pry the upper controll arm down, put a long bar in the spring and pry down on the upper ball joint, this also helps when tightening the nut to keep the ball joint from spinning.

Thanks for the advice! That was exactly what we did and it worked. Looks great too. 3" up in the front looks more agressive.

glad you got it together. they are a bugger to get back together without a pry bar now get it in for a alignment and get rid of the twitchy steering with the spacer in there now.

Unfortunately I don't have a camera right now it got stolen a few months ago.

Do I need an alignment desperately after the leveling kit? When I turn sharp on blacktop slowly it sounds like the tires and screeching...
