2" front drop question?

Ok yall. About to do a 2-2 drop on the F-150 and have some questions. On my '02 I just went with 2" coils up front and was good to go. Everyone told me it would ride ruff, this that and the other but it was fine till the day I got rid of it, which was 3 years on the coils.

So, I now have an '06 and am getting the same comments. So what does everyone suggest? Spindles, control arms, coils and shocks? Any and all info will be appreciated. Also where do yall do you shopping at for these items? Thanks.

I had a DJM drop kit on mine. It came with the lower control arms and was said to be 2.5 in the front. I would not suggest a 2/2 unless you like the rake, to level it out I would say either just 2 in the rear or if you do 2 up front then do 4 in the rear. Mine sat pretty level like that.

I had the DJM kit but there are many other options out there

I'm actually go for the raked look. Thats how my '02 was and I loved it. I'll take a gander at the DJM website. Thanks for the info. Anyone else?

No problem. I know eibach makes a kit that a lot of people used, but not sure how it drops the front, I think it is coil spring but not sure

I like a little rake too, I think factory rake is a little excessive, i would suggest a 2/3 drop and you will still have good amount of rake

I did a groundforce 2/4 kit on Lee's (87fiveoh254) 05 regular cab STX and i think he's happy with the ride quality of the drop

Yes slightly, but an alignment can correct that problem easily
