Question Leveling "08 F150 Help

Hey Guys...I'm new to the forum and have a question. I would like to get a 2" leveling kit, and run 18" rims. What is the biggest tire size I can run??? I can't stand any rubbing at all. Thanks for the advise and Pics would be great.

4x4 or 4x2? With a 4x4 you can fit a 35x12.50 using the OEM wheels but there will be minor rubbing on the control arms ast full steering lock. If you want zero rubbing, go with a slightly small size.

4X4.. It currently has 20" rims...I thought the 18" may look a little better..Do you have any advice (tire size) for the 20's if I keep them? Thanks

A 33 inch tire would be a safe bet for 100% clearance. being a stock wheel you may find that standard sizes might be harder to find so look for a 285 or 305 in metric sizes and you should have no problems for both wheel sizes. Are u goin with a mud tire? if so i would recommend cooper discoverer stt. I have had really good luck out of them and they wear great

well a buddy of mine has an 04 xlt 4x4 and has a 2" leveler on it... he runs the 305/65/18 on there, it looks really aggressive but it does rub at full crank.. its not a bad rub but does rub.

If you keep the OEM 20's, I'd go with a 285/55-20 (33x11.50), 305/55-20 (33x12.50) or a 285/65-20 (35x11.50).

Thanks again guys..Looks like I will be going with 305/55/20. With 2.5 AS leveling kit. If I do choose to change to aftermarket wheels what type of offset do I need to look for? Pics always welcome.

I have a 17x8 wheel with 5.5" of backspacing and +18 offset with 35's and a 2.5" level. You just need to find a wheel with the right backspacing and offset a bunch of guys here have 35's on aftermarket wheels just gotta look around.

If you go with an aftermarket wheel, I'd suggest a 9 inch wide wheel with 5 to 6 inches of backspacing (and stick with 33's).
