Post Leveling Kit Stupid Question

I just installed an AS 2.5 leveling kit on my 2004 FX4 SCAB. The only issue that I notice is when putting the truck in my garage. I use the big bay of a 3 car garage. The truck is too long (or the garage is too short), so I start on the left side, go in about half way, then cut right. This has me parking at about a 45 degree and gives room to lower the garage door. After installing the kit, I can actually see the front corner raise or lower in height as the wheel gets turned to extreme angles. I never cut the wheel all the way to the stop. Never have. Is this normal or a sign of problems to come?

Have you done an alignment yet? You may be riding up on the sides of your tires as the leveling kit throws your alignment out ALOT.

Actually, getting the alignment on Friday. You can see this just by cutting the wheel without the vehicle even moving at all.

I would be willing to bet the alignment will take care of this. I dont think you have any serious issues here at all. If the alignment does not take care of it, then I would worry about digging into it deeper.

After my lift my corners shifted 5-6" inches when turning, especially when not moving. The alignment should make a big difference.

The alignment did help some. Still does this a little. Before I did the allignment, I also installed an add a leaf from AS. Looks a lot better. Raised the back end up a little over two inches. Very little difference in the ride. Really add payload to truck. I had three bikes and gear in it today and I don't think it did the half ton squat by more than a half inch. Looked way low with a load after putting the leveling kit on.

glad you like the AAL! i love how my truck sits w/ a 1000lbs in the bed, drops my rear about an inch which barely puts my rear lower than the front cuz im *** high and drives like a cadillac when loaded down
