ball joint spacers?

Ok so I bought rear blocks and new torsion keys which I now am second-guessing. Many of you have said that I will wear out parts faster and put bad angles on the suspension which has made me hold off on the installation for now. I was searching google for different ways that would lift the front end of a IFS truck. I came across a forum talking about ball joint spacers that are supposed to lift the front end. I then realized that these were only talked about on Toyota truck forums but I was just wondering if anything like this was available or safe for our trucks. Any help is much appreciated

ive heard of the spacers your talking about but havent heard of any made for our trucks. but being that you have the torsion keys be aware that your front suspension has bump stops and your possibly be hitting them when you install the kit. thats why i dont have the kit on my pickup. i wanted the lift but saw i would be hitting my bump stops and wearing out my front suspension. if you want height just save your money and get a lift kit...

Right. Start saving you money and do it right. If you can install it yourself, a 3 inch body lift isn't expensive at all.

Thanks guys, and Wandell, it really seems like you know your stuff, I appreciate the help. I have thought about a body lift. The only reason I went with the torsion keys over a body lift is that I wanted a real increase in ground clearance. But I guess if I do a body lift and 35's, that should give me some extra clearance.

Just crank your t-bars to level the truck out, no need for the keys, then go with the body lift and hide it well. You'll gain some ground clearance, but any more and you've got to pay to play. No sense in half-assing it the first time around.

THe only way to really increase ground clearance is to install taller tires.

Dang! Your's must have been adjusted really low from the factory. Most people can only get about 2 inches.
