Question and Need Suggestions

Ok I have a 2000 4x4 with the 5.4 regular cab short bed, just rolled 105,000 miles. Now From the factory are there blocks on the 4x4s? My rear springs have like a 1-1/2 to 2" blocks it looks like. I always thought my truck looked higher then a factory 4x4 so I was curious. Second question is what shocks would you guys reccomend? It is my daily driver, and due to someones genius planning in the neighborhood I live in I have to drive over about 10 big speed bumps just to get to my house and my truck takes a beating so maybe something that might take those bumps a little better (not looking to spend a lot) the factory shocks are on there now.

Yes there are roughly 2" blocks from the factory on the 4x4s. As far as shocks go, many members have really enjoyed the bilstein the 5100 series. They are not too expensive.

I agree with the above posts. However, just about any aftermarket shock will be an improvement over the OEM shocks.
