RIZE 6" Block For Rear Lift

Can anyone with the Rize 6" in the rear tell me if it's tapered or non-tapered. If it's not what did you use to adjust your pinion angle?

Rize is not tapered. If you want a tapered block buy a one-up-offroad block with a taper and be done with it. You'll need to buy some u-bolts also. They are not cheap and you'll most likely have to wait for it to be fabricated. Pretty trick block non the less.

So basically no-one makes it with there lift except Rough Country which isn't actually a block. I'll use the 5" Tough Country blocks I purchased and but some shims.

I'm taking it that no one has had any issues with there pinion angle since no one makes a tapered block? I guess my seal was just a bad seal that it started leaking and wasn't due to the angle.

you can go to any suspension shop and they should have shims that are 2 degree 4 degree 6 degree ect. you shouldnt need that big of a taper, possibly 2 degrees. but im not sure.

I found some that are 2.5 degrees. If I can't find a local shop that carries them I'll order these. The biggest problem is to be able to find the ones that fit double pins.
As ya'll can see my rear sits lower than the front. It was level for about 2 weeks until the AAL's settled. If I'm going to change blocks and shim my rear end I want to try and get it up a lil more. I'm not sure exactly how much I need, but will take measurments this weekend.

What did you put on your rear to lift it?

The only blocks that are tapered in that size are one-up-offroad. They have them in dual pin.

You have to configure the block on truck toyz page.

polyperformance sells the dual pin shim kit. I bought mine from them and I have zero complaints with a rize block.
