I've been trying to find a Front Lower Control Arm assembly for a 2001 4WD Ford F150. I was looking on several parts sites and I can find everything BUT that part. I can find one for a 4x2 but not 4x4. I had decided to buy a spicer/raybestos brand and when I couldn't find it on the parts site I went direct to their website. They don't even list that they make one for a 4WD. 2WD is no problem...they list it.

I looked on RockAuto and I couldn't find this part in 4WD from any manufacturer. Am I missing something?

I figured I'd buy the whole assembly at one time rather than press out the old ball joint and put the new one in. No luck so far.

 

Looks like you can go to http://www.newfordparts.com/ after you put in your model information you can browse to Front Suspention, then to lower control arm. They have it there.

you actually dont even have to press the ball joint out, just press the new one in. Its pretty straight forward.
