Yeah man I thinkin about doin that. Where did you get your 2wd valence at? I am going to have a grille guard and winch put on there next month (I hope) and have it custom mounted (I think the guy said he'd have to weld it and bolt it :S ) Anyways, I want to get a winch on there... but Im not sure if I should do the grill guard mount (I will do a grill guard def. but maybe not mount the winch there) or if I should do a front hitch mount so I could move the winch around in case I get stuck... and that way too, the winch wouldn't be exposed to the elements cause I could keep it in the toolbox. Not sure How'd I run the wiring for that for both front and rear hookup only using one winch...

also... where'd you guys get gap guards at? Would it be better just to cut some out of a rubber sheet I have? The sheet I have is about 1/8" thick and pretty flexible

got mine at the dealership for $70

i think the 04-08's look best w/o grill guards , now for the winch , it would be sick if you could mount it behind the front bumper have the cable come through opening in the bumper.

Yeah I was looking under there earlier and noticing how I could almost just buy a winch mounting plate and fabricate it to fit like the front mount hitches do and just mount the winch on top (assuming the measurements were right) and then run the cable out the front... That would be a nice clean set up I think

Okay, that's cool... That's what I was thinking. How do you attach them to the fender well?

So...... I am still stuck trying to make a decision, I think that i am going to go with the 3" body, $1050 with gap guards installed at local shop, Now my issue is 305/65/18 or 35/12.50 18. I dont want the tires to look to big or too small trying to make it look just right. Also my wheels have +30mm offset (18X9), what exactley does that mean? See i had 305s and they didnt rub, but will the 35s rub?

when i had i my MM951's they were 20x9 +30mm offset, i had my 35/12.5R20 Toyo Mt's and i had about 1/2" of clearance between the tire lug and the control arm, i could barley fit my pinkie in there. it would rub on the control arm when hitting bumps and turning the wheel sharply. you can go with a 35/12.5 tire just dont go with an aggressive M/T. i also forgot to mention the toyo M/t's are actually 13" wide , so you might have better luck with another 35/12.5 tire

Mine are 315 wide (12.5") and it rubs on the passenger side when backing up and turning sharply on a hill. Its nothing bad, but I think I might have to trim some more when I put in adjustable shocks that will make me sit 1/2" lower than I do now. Be sure to post some photos when you get it done! We love photos!
