I had the superlift traction bars and they really help with axle wrap. A good idea if you change your gear ratios

Did you have a short box with a regular cab?

Thanks, the camper is only on for the crappy days in winter and travel. I went to South Dakot last weekend and going to Michigan next Wendesday, easier to just leave it on than take it off if the trips are close together. I think it is one of the better looking camper tops I have seen, it matches the body curves and the color, tinted windows, and the fron is a sliding windows so my wife and I can keep an eye on the dogs while we are traveling.

I have the parts, but some are missing. Good ole UPS was pretty rough on one of the boxes and I lost some hardware bags, what a shame they are so rough on stuff. TopGunCustomz also forgot to ship the shocks, but I called them this morning and they have already shipped them, should be here Wednesday. Also, I was under the impression the kit I bought had skid plates, no where on the eBay add did they say yay or nay, but the picture included them. They want to charge me $202 for the plates and $30 for shipping. Not real happy right now as I feel since I made a lower offer they may be trying to get all there money back out of me. I think I am going to order them anyways, I was really wanting the complete kit.

Finally got through to Skyjacker using TopGunCustomz. I called them 3 times and left messages (skyjacker that is) to get the too small bags of hardware shipped back out to me (cam kit and the bracke for lowering the brake line). Shocks are to be here tomorrow per UPS tracking #, haven't heard anymore on the skid plates, and the lost parts are to be shipped today, hope they make it for this weekend.

Does anyone know where to get shock boots? I forgot to order them and would like them for my truck. Does Autozone, Oreilly's, Walmart, etc carry stuff like this?

Shocks arrived yesterday! I installed the new leaf springs, traction bars and new shocks. The truck is starting to look really good. I will finish installing the lift (just the front left to install) this Friday and get it aligned Saturday. I will get some pictures up when I am done. The Pro-Comp traction bars look awesome, I am very happy I went with them. I went out last night after the install and it was raining pretty good. I gave it light throttle (but enough to spin the tires) because this used to be the worse, and no wheel hop at all. So far, I am very pleased.

I did have to do a little grinding on the traction bar bracket that connects to the axle. With the skyjacker shocks the passenger side rubbed, a little grinding and all is well.

So my install is done, gave it a couple days and my rear is almost 2.5" taller than the front? Could the directions have been wrong? Should I have taken out my rear block? Silly me didn't do any before measurements so I don't know exactly how much I raised. I do have measurements now, from the top of the front tire I measure 10", and top of the rear tire I measure 12.5". From the ground, I measure 42" for the front, and 44.5" for the rear, does this sound right running a 33" tire (actually measures 32 and change)?

Notice how the front axle actually goes up a little? Is my front too low?

So front being lower problem is a spacer ring for the sturts, which were packaged in seperate bags were missing from the kit (3rd piece that UPS lost). They are shipping them today hopefully, so it looks like I will be taking the truck apart again and then back to the alignment shop. The added height should toe my tires in some.

Thanks for the comment fx4 for life 79, I am very pleased with how it has turned out, I get a lot of compliments.....none of which say I need bigger tires thank god, I really think they look fine and make the lift appear larger than it is.
